iMac vs iPhone 4

Wow. how far we have come in 11 years.

It’s even more amazing to see how this tiny little thing has dwarfed the Mac. In 2009, Apple sold 10 million Macs—including the desktop and portables—compared to a whooping 45 million iPhones. And the 45 million is not counting the other iOS devices. Next year, the iPad alone is expected to surpass the sales of all Mac computers combined.

Why are casino carpets weird and ugly?

the most obvious answer would be it makes you gamble more, like all other designs:  no clocks, windows and free drinks.  However, its actually a lot more direct: it’s a direct revenue source

carpets are deliberately designed to obscure and camouflage gambling chips that have fallen onto the floor. The casinos sweep up a huge number of these every night. So the carpets are just another source of revenue.
